Date of Walk: Wednesday 12^th August (afternoon) Thursday 13^th August (all day)

Please note that I will not be able to edit this page for several days after I come off the mountains.

Car Park: My car is a BLACK SAAB 93 SPORTWAGON OV55 EOY.
I will be attempting two trips onto the hills.

FIRST WALK:

Route: The target is to climb Mynydd Graig Goch (summit is rocky tor at SH497485)

I will be travelling down from Manchester and intend to walk this in the late afternoon or evening

I intend to camp at the Llyn Gwynant Campsite (http://www.gwynant.com/index.html)

SECOND WALK:

CAR PARK: Probably at the campsite or possibly along the road at the foot of the Watkin Path

Route: The target is to walk up the following mountains on Snowdon. I will start with Gallt y Wenallt and finish with Yr Aran

Timing: I intend to start very early and complete by mid afternoon, 17:00 at the latest

Equipment Carried

I am carrying two mobile phones (see above)

Personal Locator Beacon (406/121.5MHz with strobe light)

I will have plenty of food and water.

Full set of waterproofs (Red Jacket), fleece, jumper, thermal top, appropriate hat, survival bag, bothy bag shelter

1:25000 map, compass, GPS, spare batteries for GPS, whistle, torch, sturdy boots and walking poles.
